Imaging

Imaging can be highly beneficial for dogs and cats, helping detect and diagnose conditions early, guide treatment plans, and monitor response to therapy. Our staff is trained to acquire radiograph and ultrasound images of your pet in a safe and comfortable manner. In some cases, sedation may be necessary for your pet’s comfort and to obtain high-quality images that are diagnostically helpful. All radiograph and ultrasound images are reviewed and interpreted by a board-certified veterinary radiologist, allowing our doctors to incorporate expert opinions and provide the best possible care.

In addition to our in-house imaging services, we can coordinate appointments with a mobile ultrasonographer who performs echocardiograms (heart ultrasounds) interpreted by a veterinary cardiologist, as well as detailed abdominal ultrasounds with fine needle aspirates (tissue sampling) when indicated.
