PAWS University
Our Paws University was created to teach you and your dog how to communicate through training. Using positive reinforcement and simple cues, you can strengthen the bond between you and your canine companion. Training offers the mental stimulation and physical activity that dogs crave. We have a variety of classes to offer by our certified trainer, Lori Novosad.

Puppy Head Start
This class is designed to introduce your puppy to other puppies, new people, and new situations in a safe environment. You will begin training with age appropriate activities and have fun with other new puppy parents. For puppies from six to twelve weeks of age and appropriately vaccinated.

(Unlike the other two classes, this class will be four weeks instead of six for $80 instead of $110.)
Puppy STAR (Socialization, Training, Activity, and a Responsible Owner)
This six week class guides you in teaching your puppy basic obedience cues, addresses common puppy problems, and provides a safe socialization environment. You will begin training with age appropriate activities and have fun with other new puppy parents. At the end of the course, your pet will be eligible to take the Puppy STAR test, which is recognized as the gold standard in behavior for dogs. For fully vaccinated puppies from twelve weeks to twelve months of age.

Basic Obedience
This six week training class covers basic obedience cues such as sit, down, walking nicely on a leash, and leave it. You will learn to communicate with your dog using positive reinforcement, making training fun and strengthening your bond with your pet. For dogs of all ages.

Canine Good Citizen
This six week class is designed to reward dogs with good manners at home and in the community. The Canine Good Citizen class helps lay the foundation for other training activities. At the end of the six week course, our trainer will administer a 10-item Canine Good Citizen test. Pets who pass this test may receive a Canine Good Citizen certification. For fully vaccinated dogs over twelve months of age.

Private Training
If you are interested in working with your pet in a one-on-one environment, we offer private training sessions. Private training is a wonderful opportunity for you and your pet to work with our trainer, focusing on your specific concerns, goals, and strengthening your bond with your pet.
